broad horizon acquires innovative consulting house
4. januar 2021
Copenhagen, January 4th, 2021: “Projectum is a very exciting company with 50 extremely talented colleagues. We are delighted that they have agreed to join Broad Horizon. Together with Delegate and the other companies in the group, we have a strong foothold in the Nordics, in Benelux, and globally in Microsoft technologies for project, resource and portfolio management,” says Jakob Schou, CEO of Delegate and responsible for Broad Horizon in the Nordic region.
Projectum was founded in 2004 by Peter Kestenholz and Carsten Nilsson, who have worked hard to transform their company from pure consultancy by adding development and sales of a variety of solutions based on the Microsoft Power Platform.
With its in-depth knowledge of the Project and Portfolio Management domain, Projectum has successfully developed a collection of software solutions so strong that Microsoft partners from around the world are eager to establish partnerships and sell the products. Projectum has won Microsoft’s Global Project Partner of the Year award multiple times and has been a finalist every year since 2015. Peter Kestenholz is known around the world for his deep domain knowledge, as demonstrated by the fact that he has been awarded the title of Microsoft MVP for the past ten consecutive years.
“We’ve experienced healthy growth over the years, and we’d reached a stage where I could see that we need a bigger cog in the wheel to take the company to the next level. That’s why it makes good sense to become a part of the Broad Horizon family and to work closely with Delegate. Together, we are very strong, we complement each other, and we’ll be an even more attractive workplace for talented colleagues and a strong partner for our customers and partners,” Peter Kestenholz says about the 50-person company which, in future, will be called Projectum – A Broad Horizon Company.
Close relationships and growth
With Delegate’s 135 employees, Jakob Schou believes that it won’t be long before Broad Horizon in Denmark reaches a significant milestone: 200 employees. The focus continues to be on advising Nordic companies and organisations about digital transformation and supplying business-critical IT solutions based on Microsoft’s platform.
“We have bought into a company that has extremely strong technical expertise in Microsoft’s Power Platform. And most importantly, we have the same values and ambitions to be a fantastic workplace and to supply excellent customer services – while continuing to grow. The joint management team has an ambition to grow the company without damaging the close and personal atmosphere which is a cornerstone of both companies – this also applies to any future acquisitions,” explains Jakob Schou.
“Together, Projectum and Delegate provide a strong foundation for the company’s continuing journey. We have great expectations for the Nordic market in general, and with Projectum on board, we’ll also have the opportunity to strengthen our position in Benelux and through partners in other corners of the world – partners that sell software solutions developed by Projectum. We’re looking forward to seeing how things unfold,” concludes Johan Taams, CEO of Broad Horizon.
