In addition to being named Best IT Workplace in Denmark, Delegate has also won the jury's special award for Best Workplace in Denmark for Young People across all industries.
The reasoning from the jury was, among other things, that as a young employee you get a talent development plan to ensure that you gain knowledge of many different technologies, that you are encouraged to constructively challenge the existing, and that even students get in touch with customers quite quickly – in safe cooperation with a superior.
"As a young person, you are treated on an equal footing with all other employees. We value the fresh knowledge and drive that young people bring. This contributes to making Delegate a fantastic workplace where we help and acknowledge each other for our distinctive qualities, and together we create unique solutions for our customers," says Peter Østergaard, Co-CEO at Delegate.
And the young people appreciate being part of the successful Microsoft house too.
"In Delegate, there is ample opportunity to develop and improve. This is due, in particular, to the fact that you immediately get a significant role on projects, and that you get a chance to take various certifications. Moreover, it is a workplace where there is a great focus on human values, and your qualifications are actually more important than the hierarchy, which I believe makes Delegate an attractive place to work as a young person," says 25-year-old Frederik Gaasdal Jensen, Associate Consultant at Delegate.
Camilla Holmstoel Andreasen, Associate Consultant and 26 years old, chimes in:
"For me, Delegate is a good place to be a young employee, because we have colleagues of all ages. It gives you an opportunity to have a working environment with colleagues of your own age that you can easily relate to, while, at the same time, you can learn from colleagues with lots of experience, which provides some awesome opportunities for development," she says.
